About SIECUS
SIECUS, the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the U. S., has been a strong advocate for the sexual health and rights of all people since 1964. With a mission to advance sex education through advocacy, policy, and coalition building, SIECUS envisions an equitable nation where everyone receives comprehensive sex education, is affirmed in their identities, and has the power to make decisions about their health, pleasure, and wholeness.
Recognizing sexual and reproductive health as a human right, SIECUS focuses on comprehensive sexuality education as a means to create positive societal change. Their core areas of work include policy and advocacy, education and resource development, and strategic communications.
