About Us SiennaArtGalleryAndGifts
Sienna Art Gallery and Gifts is a locally focused art gallery in downtown Knoxville’s Arts District, located at 129 South Gay Street. The gallery brings together local and regional artists, featuring work by three in-house artists alongside exhibitions from invited guest artists who change monthly. Its collection includes original cityscape paintings, still lifes, hand-woven garments, and other art pieces, offering visitors a range of creative work to explore. The gallery also carries gift items inspired by the artists’ work, including note cards and coasters.
Working artist studios are an integral part of the space, connecting visitors with the creative process as well as finished artwork. Visitors are invited to browse the gallery, learn about its artists, and explore class opportunities. Sienna describes its name as a warm, natural reddish-brown earth pigment used in paints and dyes, evoking warmth in architecture, textiles, and nature. The gallery is open most afternoons except Sunday and Monday, and every First Friday from 5 to 9 p.m.
