About Sight for The Rural Child
Sight for the Rural Child is a nonprofit organization in Ghana dedicated to providing eye care services to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our vision is to ensure every child, regardless of their socioeconomic status, has access to quality eye care to reach their full potential. Through education and outreach programs, we aim to raise awareness on eye health and prevent avoidable blindness.
Our mission is to remove barriers to vision health for underprivileged children and create a world where all children have access to quality eye care. We offer a range of services, including eye screenings, exams, treatment, and eyeglasses provision. Our goal is to screen 1 million rural children in Ghana by 2030.
