About Signature Art Prize
The Signature Art Prize is a prestigious brand founded in 2006 by gallery Directors Isobel Beauchamp and Elinor Olisa. Their mission is to celebrate and recognize emerging artists' Signature Style, which they define as the unique combination of process, method, and the artist's own personality that results in artwork that is distinct and specific to them. With their deep understanding of the contemporary art market, they aim to capture and develop each artist's individual brand.
The prize is open to all current art students and recent graduates from arts-based degree programs within the past three years. The competition encompasses various categories, including painting, sculpture, photography & film, and drawing & printmaking. The submissions are reviewed and judged by a panel of esteemed industry professionals who select 20 finalists.
Past winners have experienced remarkable success and industry acclaim, with their artwork being included in public collections and showcased in stunning locations. The Signature Art Prize offers a platform for young artists to exhibit and promote their work in the competitive art world, providing an opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity.
