Sigrid Juséliuksen Säätiö is Finland's largest private supporter of cutting-edge medical research. Established in 1930 by Fritz Arthur Jusélius in memory of his daughter Sigrid, who tragically passed away from tuberculosis, the foundation has been granting scholarships since 1949. Their mission is to advance Finnish medical research through funding.

They offer a variety of grants, including 1-3-year scholarships for mature researchers and young group leaders establishing their own research groups. They also have a Visiting Professor program, allowing foreign medical researchers to work for 3-12 months in Finnish research institutions. The foundation actively manages their investment and real estate assets to sustain their support for medical research.
