About SIIA
SIIA, short for Singapore Institute of International Affairs, is a renowned non-profit and independent think tank that was established in 1962. With a commitment to producing policy analysis and fostering dialogues, SIIA aims to bridge the gap between policymakers, private sector decision-makers, and experts in order to shape public policy and social responses. As a think tank centered around ASEAN focused themes, SIIA provides in-depth analysis on international affairs and issues driving environmental sustainability.
Recognized as one of the leading think tanks in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, SIIA has earned accolades for its contributions to policy research. It was ranked as the No. 1 independent think tank in Asia in 2017 and has consistently been listed among the top 50 think tanks globally.
In addition, SIIA was acknowledged for its exceptional response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
