SiiPo

Siilinjärven Ponnistus, also known as SiiPo, is a long-established Finnish sports club with a tradition dating back to 1907. Based in Siilinjärvi, the association supports physical activity for children, young people and adults through four active branches: athletics, ski jumping, gymnastics, and weightlifting and powerlifting. Its athletics program welcomes children from preschool age and offers age-based activity groups and coaching for older participants.

The ski-jumping branch provides introductory sessions for adults as well as activities for children, while the club also offers gymnastics, running-school activities and access to a gym. Members can take part in training, competitions and other club events, with information available about fees, membership benefits, coaching and schedules. SiiPo also organizes activities such as children’s snow days and can host celebrations and workplace or customer events.

Guided by values including tolerance, enthusiasm, joy, quality and experiences of success, the club invites community members to explore its programs, join in and contribute as volunteers
