Silberhorn Pferdetherapie

Silberhorn-Pferde is a horse-care practice led by Gwen Silberhorn, combining individualized hoof care with manual therapies for horses. Its services are tailored to each horse’s circumstances and the particular needs of its musculoskeletal system. Hoof work includes method-independent barefoot trimming, orthopaedic hoof solutions and glue-on shoes, including Duplo and Good Smith models with carbon tabs. Custom constructions are available when a horse’s support or movement system calls for a specialized orthopaedic design.

Manual therapy options include structural osteopathy, which addresses relationships between bones, joint spacing, shifts in bone position and resulting load intolerance in a limb. The practice also offers acupuncture based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, with selected points treated using needles or a laser, as well as dry needling to target deep myofascial trigger points. Silberhorn-Pferde presents these services as individually selected support for equine hoof care, movement and comfort. The website also provides information about preparing for an appointment and enables enquiries by phone, email or WhatsApp.
