Silezika is a nonprofit association founded in 2009 and focused on nature and landscape conservation, primarily in the former Jeseník district of the Czech Republic. Its work aims to protect biodiversity and water resources, with particular attention to retaining rainwater in the landscape. The association creates and maintains small ponds, wetlands, orchards, tree corridors and woodland patches, helping to support local habitats and ecological diversity.
Its projects also include hydrological studies, landscape restoration and measures addressing erosion, flooding and drought. Silezika maintains two genetic-resource orchards and several planted lines of trees established through earlier initiatives. Alongside practical conservation, the organization provides environmental education and encourages both specialists and the wider public to take an active role in protecting water resources.
It also seeks to create employment opportunities for local residents through its activities. Silezika has worked with municipalities and other partners on projects across the region, including pond creation, tree planting and public orchard development. The association welcomes enquiries about its work and opportunities for collaboration
