Silicon MENA

Silicon MENA is a curated professional network connecting the founders, engineers, operators and investors building the technology ecosystem across the Middle East and North Africa. Covering 731 startups in 14 markets, the platform helps members discover people and companies through peer endorsements called cosigns: short, signed notes from colleagues who have worked with them. Membership applications are reviewed, and cosigns are attributable, giving profiles context beyond self-written biographies.

Members can explore people, companies and investors; create lists highlighting promising talent or businesses; and take part in community rankings. Ecosystem Watch tracks regional funding rounds, launches, partnerships and hires, while the jobs section features roles posted by startups and lets candidates save opportunities and signal interest to hiring teams. The network also offers private signals, including “would hire,” “would fund” and “would meet,” which are visible only to their recipients.
