About Silver Canoe
Silver Canoe & Whitewater Rafting, located in Port Jervis NY, is a renowned brand offering exciting river trips on the Delaware River. With a rich history dating back to 1977, Silver Canoe started as a family-owned business with just 12 aluminum canoes. Inspired by the popularity of the movie 'Deliverance,' they initially focused on canoeing.
Over the years, they expanded their offerings and acquired more properties and equipment, including the addition of rafting, in response to the growing demand for adventure and white-water experiences. In 2017, the Crouthamel family took over and continued to operate from the original March family property. With their extensive outdoor recreation experience, they have expanded the fleet, updated equipment, and added tubing trips to the list of services.
In 2020, they moved to a new location, allowing for easier transportation and accommodating their growing business. With a commitment to family values, adventure, and fun, Silver Canoe & Whitewater Rafting is dedicated to creating unforgettable Delaware River memories for all its customers
