Silver Spur Ranch is a 165-acre horse facility in Maple Park, Illinois, less than an hour west of Chicago. Since opening in 2007, the ranch has focused on keeping horse care and riding safe and enjoyable, with full-service monthly boarding and no hidden add-on charges. Boarders have access to round-the-clock barn oversight, daily manure spreading, all-day turnout in corrals or group pastures, and hay grown on the property. Facilities include a 280-by-100-foot indoor arena with heated, air-conditioned viewing rooms, an outdoor arena, six grass pastures, a wash stall, a half-mile grass track, and wooded trails.

Silver Spur offers riding lessons with two on-site trainers, who teach riders of different ages and specialize in hunter/jumper and pleasure riding. Lessons can be arranged seven days a week. The ranch also hosts private events in its Saloon and patio spaces, accommodating gatherings from five to more than 100 guests, with catering and decorating available.
