Silviapotter

Silviapotter Ceramics and Glass is the artisan brand of Silvia Decet, based in Feltre, in Italy’s Belluno area. Working primarily with clay, Silvia creates functional and decorative ceramics, describing pottery as an ongoing journey of exploration. Her handmade collection includes pieces for the home and table, such as jars and containers, pitchers and teapots, ceramic oil bottles, bowls, and cups. She also makes decorative objects, including saggar-fired pieces, and complements her ceramic work with colorful, contemporary glass-bead jewelry crafted using a lampworking technique.

Silviapotter offers ceramic workshops for people at different experience levels. Beginner sessions introduce foundational methods such as slab building, pinching, and coiling, with an opportunity to try the wheel. More experienced participants can explore advanced slab construction and decorative techniques. The brand also provides special options for events, including wedding favors and pieces for maternity occasions. Through her work and teaching, Silvia shares her curiosity about materials and supports others in discovering their own creativity.
