About SIMNET.aero
CQV, under the brand name SIMNET, is dedicated to revolutionizing drone design and simulation tools. Founded in 2014 in Puerto Rico, United States, our mission is to empower developers, researchers, educators, and students in advancing hybrid Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) drone technologies. Frustrated with the lack of suitable tools, we developed our proprietary software, Typhon UDX, based on modern engineering paradigms. This toolset has been refined through numerous commercial projects, reducing development time and costs for drone hardware and software developers worldwide.
Our tools are not only beneficial to professionals but also researchers, educators, and students in the academic sphere. Our latest offering, SIMNET, integrates the Typhon Physics Engine with cloud technology to enhance capabilities and accessibility. With founders Juan Cruz-Ayoroa, PE Aerospace Engineer, and AJ Cruz-Ayoroa, PhD Computer Engineer, at the helm, CQV continues to be a driving force in the drone industry.
