SiMolde is the student welfare organisation serving students in Molde and Kristiansund. Its mission is to make student life meaningful and enriching by providing accessible welfare services shaped around students’ needs, in collaboration with student groups and other partners. The organisation supports students at different stages of their studies, including those studying part-time, online or through periodic campus sessions.
SiMolde offers student housing, with information and applications for available homes, as well as a bookstore where students can order course books and have them delivered. Its food and drink services include a canteen, menus and meal ordering. To encourage connection and participation, SiMolde provides information about student associations and events, alongside an activity calendar. Health and wellbeing support includes student counselling and access to a free psychologist. Families can also find a student-adapted childcare service and related information. Other practical support includes guidance for first-year students and a free public transport pass during the academic year.
