Simon Hoyt Family History is a genealogical website documenting the ancestry and descendants of Simon Hoyt and related family lines. Maintained by John E. Hoyt, the site focuses especially on Timothy Hoyt and his descendants, including the families of Benjamin W.

and Jonathan G. Hoyt. It brings together family histories, descendant outlines, pedigree charts, surname indexes, migration research, and a large family-tree map.

Visitors can explore records and pages covering Hoyt families in England and early New England, as well as branches in New York, Michigan, Ohio, and Washington State. Additional resources include cemetery and census information, photographs, historical documents, maps, family stories, slideshows, recipes, and a quiz. The site also provides research on related surnames and DNA, and distinguishes lineages that its author considers separate.

Some image and document collections are private and require a username and password, which visitors can request by contacting the author. Overall, the website serves family members and researchers seeking organized historical material about the Simon Hoyt lineage and its associated families
