Simon Kaufman Architects

Simon Kaufman Architects is a London-based architectural practice serving clients across the UK and on international projects. With more than 20 years of experience designing and overseeing construction, the practice creates practical, sustainable and visually considered buildings for residential, commercial, retail and healthcare uses. Its work includes diverse housing, offices, mixed-use developments, student accommodation, elderly care facilities and the adaptation of historic buildings.

The practice supports projects from early advice through completion, offering pre-planning guidance, planning applications, building regulations work, construction information, contract management, site inspection and post-completion services. It focuses on securing planning permission and producing detailed, buildable designs that respond to site conditions, local context and regulatory requirements. Services also address energy efficiency, fire safety, accessibility and biodiversity, with BIM and CAD expertise and collaboration with specialist consultants.

Led by Simon Kaufman, whose background includes work with Sir Terry Farrell & Partners, AECOM and PRP, the practice combines design creativity with attention to viability, construction needs and long-term performance.
