SiMPeF Nazionale

SiMPeF, the National Trade Union of Family Pediatricians, is an Italian professional association representing pediatricians who provide family-based care. It supports members through representation in national, regional, and local negotiations, and offers practical resources to help them manage their professional responsibilities. The organization’s website provides information about its history, statutes, structure, news, events, and publications, alongside documents on collective agreements, regional agreements, insurance arrangements, and union finances.

Members can access tools and guidance on topics such as calculating contract arrears, understanding payslips, compensation for substitute doctors, expense reimbursements, and invoicing. SiMPeF also lists services and partnerships, including help finding medical substitutes, workplace safety courses, healthcare-waste collection and disposal, and insurance and professional platforms. Its educational activities include courses, masters, conferences, and projects concerning children’s health and development, such as nutrition, asthma, and developmental assessment. The union invites pediatricians to join for access to member-only content, distance learning, and insurance discounts. Based in Milan, SiMPeF also publishes a periodical and provides contact information for members and visitors.
