Simply Postpartum

Simply Postpartum is a postpartum support service founded by Suzanne to help new and expecting families navigate the transition to life with a newborn. Serving the Triangle Area of North Carolina, including Durham, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Mebane, the business offers personalized planning, in-person postpartum doula care, and night support for families with different parenting styles.

Its R.E.S.T. framework brings together recovery, education, sleep, and tending. Support may include nourishing meals, practical help during physical recovery, and a nonjudgmental space to discuss emotional well-being. Suzanne also shares evidence-based information on newborn care, feeding, pumping, and other parenting questions, and can help families establish routines and household systems. Night doula services are tailored to each family’s needs and feeding schedule, with the aim of helping parents get more rest and learn about their baby’s sleep needs.

Simply Postpartum also offers postpartum planning to help families prepare for recovery, sleep, feeding, household responsibilities, and family adjustment before the baby arrives. Its website features a store, blog, and monthly newsletter.
