SINDA Grants is a community-focused grant programme operated by SINDA, supporting research and initiatives that benefit the Singapore Indian community. Its work is guided by the belief that small steps can contribute to greater change. The programme offers two main funding opportunities.
The SINDA Research Fund supports students, researchers, academics and community practitioners undertaking interdisciplinary research related to the community. The SINDA Community Impact Fund backs individuals and organisations with innovative, impactful solutions intended to create beneficial change. Through these grants, SINDA also encourages social innovation, greater awareness of community social issues and stronger support networks.
Supported proposals may serve groups including preschoolers, students, teachers, parents, families and older people. Applicants can connect with partner organisations and gain publicity for their ideas, alongside access to grant support. The website provides application information, details on past recipients and contact channels for prospective applicants.
It invites interested people and organisations to explore funding that can strengthen communities through research and practical initiatives
