Sindeon

Sindeon is a welcoming youth role-playing community built around shared stories, creative participation and live-action role-play. Founded in 2001, it grew from a summer camp into a year-round community, with the summer camp remaining its central event alongside smaller gatherings throughout the year. Participants take on original characters and influence unfolding adventures through their choices and interactions. The main camp takes place in Sindeon’s own fantasy world, inspired by books, films and games, while other events may explore different imagined or historical settings.

Organizers, known as seniors, support the experience by creating stories, costumes, armor, scenery and mythical creatures. Participants can use provided clothing and armor, and receive help developing characters within the event’s setting and rules. Combat is designed to emphasize role-play rather than physical strength, using a game-like system; controlled fencing with suitable safety equipment is also available. Events are generally held at Lósi Major and Társa Pagony, where participants have access to meals, beds and bathrooms.
