Singleton Basketball

Singleton Basketball is a basketball training organization based in Argyle, Texas, focused on helping players develop skills that translate into competitive game situations. Training is led by former NBA player James Singleton and centers on teaching athletes to read the game, make decisions, and solve problems—not simply repeat drills or pursue exposure. Its coaching approach follows a clear progression: assess, teach, apply, review, and progress. Players receive purposeful instruction, opportunities to make decisions in game-like situations, and honest feedback designed to help their development carry over to competition.

The organization offers training paths intended to meet players at their current level and support continued development. Singleton Basketball also serves a community of players and families, with updates and resources for current participants. Its stated values include integrity, perseverance, and sportsmanship, alongside a commitment to competitive basketball and understanding the game. Families can explore training options, contact the organization with questions, or connect by email.
