Sinjar Academy is a modern startup academy located in the Sinjar region of northern Iraq. As a state-of-the-art educational institution, we aim to provide high-quality educational services to a population of 800,000 people in northwestern Nineveh. Our academy focuses on serving Iraq's ethnic and religious minorities, including the Yazidis, who reside in the region.

Sinjar Academy is a registered public charity in the United States, operating under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We offer a diverse range of programs designed to meet the region's educational needs and generate new opportunities for job creation and business development. Our programs span across six key areas, including English as a Second Language, Information Technology and Software Development, Digital Media, Business Administration, Secondary School K-12 Supplementary Education, and Talent Mentorship.

Additionally, we provide short courses to address specific learning needs. To ensure an effective learning experience, Sinjar Academy utilizes a hybrid instructional model that combines virtual and in-person elements. Skillful educators from around the world contribute their expertise through virtual instruction, while in-person interactions are facilitated through partnerships with local schools and NGOs.
