Although the festival for 2024 has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the spirit of Sinterklaas lives on. Organized by Jeanne Fleming and her team, the festival features whimsical events like the Children's Starlight Parade, where Sinterklaas himself leads the festivities on a white steed. Families are invited to create their own royal scepters and crowns, emphasizing themes of hope and responsibility.

In place of the festival, artistic installations like dioramas of honored animals have been displayed in local storefronts to maintain the festive spirit. The festival also invites community participation through volunteer opportunities and donations, ensuring the tradition continues into the future.
