Sint Martinus Horn

Schutterij Sint Martinus Horn is a community shooting and cultural association based in Horn, the Netherlands. Founded in 1558, it describes itself as the village’s oldest association and is honoured with the Royal Medal of Honour. The group brings together members of different ages, including uniformed participants and younger members, and presents itself as a close-knit community dedicated to keeping local traditions alive.

The association takes part in processions, regional shooting festivals and other community events, with an agenda that includes religious services, annual meetings and competitions across nearby towns. Its website shares the group’s history, information about its kings and “Shooter of the Year,” details about its board and shooting committee, and updates and photographs from activities. Visitors can also find information about joining and contact the association.

Fundraising and volunteer work help support the group. Its flea market involves collecting, sorting and selling donated goods, with members and local volunteers contributing their time.
