SipnDevelop

Sip & Develop is a photography lounge in National Harbor, Maryland, offering a social way to explore traditional black-and-white film photography. Its welcoming studio combines guided darkroom experiences with drinks, making it a destination for beginners, experienced photographers, couples, friends, families, and corporate groups. No prior experience is needed for guided sessions, where guests learn to develop photographs and watch images emerge in the darkroom.

Experiences include borrowing a point-and-shoot 35mm camera to photograph the area, having an in-house photographer take pictures, and creating a studio portrait. The studio also offers do-it-yourself developing for customers comfortable working independently, along with couples’ sessions that include wine. Most photography and developing sessions last 90 minutes, while studio portraits are prepared for pickup within two hours or less. Sip & Develop also promotes private events, corporate team-building, customer memberships, gift cards, and beverages. Its expert staff guides guests through the process, making the venue suitable for a creative outing, date night, or group gathering.
