Sirna & Sons Produce, located in Ravenna, OH, is a reputable brand with a rich history in the fresh produce industry. The company was established in 1939 by Gaetano Sirna in Chicago. Over the years, it has grown and evolved into a trusted purveyor of high-quality fruits and vegetables.
Under the leadership of the second generation, Sirna & Sons relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, and opened Joe's Food Market. Later, the family established Eagle Super Market in Garfield Heights, Ohio, where Joe Sirna became the President of the Eagle Market Chain. In 1987, the brand ventured into wholesale distribution, and in 1994, they expanded their retail market operation, changing the names to Sirna & Sons Produce and Sirna's Market & Deli respectively.
The company continued to expand its reach, opening additional facilities in Norwalk and Ravenna, Ohio, to cater to the growing demand. In 2016, Sirna & Sons honored their late mother by establishing Christine's Cuts, a Kosher and Primus GFS certified produce processing facility. They also introduced Joe's Grab n' Go, a line of fresh cut fruit and vegetable packs made at Christine's Cuts.
Committed to making a positive impact, Sirna & Sons participated in the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program, packing and delivering over 445,000 combination boxes to food insecure communities. With their extensive experience, dedication to quality, and commitment to sustainability, Sirna & Sons Produce is a trusted and reliable choice for all your fresh produce needs.
