The Vendée Department’s cultural and natural sites network invites visitors to explore the region’s heritage, landscapes and history through nine notable destinations. Its portfolio includes the Historial de la Vendée, where exhibitions and interactive displays trace 7,000 years of history; the furnished Logis de la Chabotterie, associated with the Vendée Wars; and the medieval Château de Tiffauges, known for shows and its collection of historic war machines. Visitors can also discover the abbeys of Nieul-sur-l’Autise and Maillezais, the Haras national de la Vendée, and the well-preserved Priory of Grammont. Nature-focused destinations include the Cité des Oiseaux and Réserve des Huttes.

Its online portal provides practical information and an event agenda to help plan visits. A Vendée Pass gives access to nine cultural and tourist sites as often as desired for one year, while dedicated ticketing information is also available for works councils and associations.
