KASA is a hosting backup service for accounts managed through DirectAdmin. It automatically copies a hosting account’s websites, email, databases, domains, and settings, helping customers recover if a site is damaged, compromised, or accidentally changed. Users choose daily, weekly, or monthly backups and decide how many copies to retain. When recovery is needed, they select a saved date in the panel and monitor the restoration process.

KASA encrypts account information and backup copies, checks that copies are complete, and does not automatically delete retained backups. Storage options include KASA’s backup servers, the customer’s own Google Drive, or a download to a personal computer. Plans range from a free option for manual backups to paid annual plans with cloud storage or larger capacities, including 250 GB, 1 TB, and 4 TB. Paid plans support scheduled backups, panel-based restoration, and multiple hosting accounts. The service currently supports DirectAdmin, with setup details reviewed before backups begin. Payment is currently accepted by bank transfer or EFT.
