SJJ Martial Arts

SJJ Martial Arts is a Lowestoft-based martial arts and self-defence training business led by instructor Kevin Gunton. With 21 years of experience, Kevin is a 5th Dan black belt in Japanese Jujitsu and a 4th Dan black belt in realistic street self-defence. He is also a current WMAGC World and European self-defence champion. The business offers private lessons in Oulton, Lowestoft, alongside group classes at venues around the area.

Training options include Japanese Jujitsu, realistic street self-defence, fitness and women’s self-defence. Private sessions are available for individuals, pairs and groups of up to four, with a separate option for team-building or security-focused training for groups of up to 20 adults. Regular classes run on different evenings and Saturday mornings, with fees varying by class. The instructor adapts training to participants’ experience and fitness levels, and can discuss tailored sessions and pricing.
