About The Saint John Newcomers Centre
The Saint John Newcomers Centre is a go-to place for all newcomers to Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Our mission is to help you settle down and integrate into the local community. Founded in 2009, we are one of the leaders in offering a wide range of services to newcomers in the Greater Saint John area.
We offer various programs and support, including exploratory visits, settlement support, orientation sessions, employment programs, and cultural competency training. Our Francophone Support Programs cater specifically to French-speaking newcomers. We also provide invaluable resources at our Resource Centre, where you can access reference materials and use printing and photocopying services free of charge.
We are a non-profit organization that relies on the support of local volunteers, and we are funded by the federal, provincial, and municipal governments. Our ultimate goal is to improve the cultural, social, and economic well-being of the Saint John region through supporting newcomer settlement and integration. Whether you're a newcomer or a Saint Johner looking to get involved, there are opportunities for you to volunteer or donate to support our work.
