Sjoowavond is an annual live entertainment event organised by Goorse Culturele Vereniging De Deurdouwers in Hof van Twente, the Netherlands. With roots dating back to the late 1960s, the Sjoow has grown into a much-loved local tradition featuring performers from the region. Young talents and experienced artists share the stage in a polished variety show, supported by a live band, professional direction and technical production. The performances are known for audience interaction and plenty of opportunities to sing along, making the event a lively night out for visitors.
The 2027 edition, titled “De Wereld SJOOW,” is scheduled for 19, 20 and 21 March. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.; the Sunday matinee starts at 3 p.m., with doors opening at 2 p.m. The event takes place at De Bebsel in Goor, where hosts Ellen and Jeroen Bebseler contribute to the welcoming atmosphere. Tickets can be ordered through the Sjoowavond website, which also features photos from past editions and contact information.
