SK99

SK99, the Swimming Club of 1999, is a community swimming club in Viborg, Denmark. It offers swimming instruction for children and adults, including recreational swimmers, with activities held at the swimming pool at Viborg Idrætshøjskole/Gymnastikhøjskole. The club welcomes children from age four and provides families with opportunities to swim together. Its seasonal programme includes regular lessons, activity-swimming sessions and special events such as Mærkesvømning, when participants can swim set distances and earn badges and certificates. Distances range from 25 metres to longer challenges, with requirements adjusted for the pool and distance.

SK99 publishes information about schedules, enrolment, seasonal dates and practical arrangements for families. Registration opens in stages for current members and then for everyone; the club also advises that places may sometimes be available on later evening classes. Parents can contact the club for help with registration or questions, and are asked to watch lessons from the balcony or entrance hall rather than beside the pool. SK99 shares relevant updates on Facebook and can be reached by email.
