Skadi Archery

Skadi Archery is a friendly archery club based in Bedum, the Netherlands. Founded in 2021, the association aims to promote and practise archery in a welcoming, social environment, with opportunities for both recreational and competitive shooting. The club is open to beginners and experienced archers aged 12 and over.

Members practise several disciplines using traditional, barebow and recurve bows; compound archery is not available. Competition activity focuses mainly on 3D archery, with occasional target and field competitions organised by the NNHF. Those curious about the sport can attend up to three free trial sessions. Visitors are asked to contact the club in advance so a loan bow can be prepared.

Shooting takes place outdoors at the Bedum ice rink. Tuesday evening sessions run from April through September, generally starting at 7 p.m. Sunday afternoon shooting may also be held from 1 p.m. when there is sufficient interest. Because Skadi Archery has no indoor venue, sessions depend on daylight and suitable weather, with a gentle winter break.
