Skala Skapar

Skala Skapar is a Swedish shop specialising in miniatures, materials and furniture for dollhouses, room boxes and model-making. The business carries forward the work of SkalaMinimal, whose founder began making 1:12-scale furniture and printing traditional Swedish wallpaper in 1997. Skala Skapar took over the operation in 2025, with a renewed focus on handmade creations alongside practical supplies for miniature projects.

Its range includes handmade furniture and small decorative pieces, textiles, rugs, miniature food and kitchenware, toys, garden items, seasonal decorations and accessories. Shoppers can also find ready-made furniture, including white and unpainted pieces, as well as model kits in 1:12 and 1:144 scales. Craft and building supplies include wood strips, handles, hinges, fittings, wallpaper, flooring, patterned and hand-printed fabrics, trims, frames, 12V electrical accessories, tools and instructions. The shop also offers selected items at set low price points and promotes miniature-making through its craft-meetup information and newsletter. Skala Skapar serves hobbyists seeking finished details or materials to create and customise miniature interiors.
