Skamania

Sommerstomp Skamania is the name of an open-air ska festival held in Berlin, bringing live ska music to the Köpenick neighborhood. The event was organized in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the band Les Calcatoggios, who invited audiences to join the festivities. The festival took place on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Haus der Jugend Köpenick, also known as HdJK, and its Café on Seelenbinderstraße.

Doors opened at 2 p. m. Admission was listed at €6 in advance and €8 to €10 at the door.

The event’s website identifies Claudia Schlaak and HdJK as responsible for its organization and content. It also provided practical information about the venue and a link to the HdJK website. Sommerstomp Skamania is therefore presented as a community-focused, live-music event rather than a product retailer or service provider.

Its central offering was an outdoor ska festival in Berlin, created around a milestone in Les Calcatoggios’ band history
