ICE Skating Poseidon

Skate Poseidon is a long-standing indoor recreational ice rink in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Brussels, located beside the Poseidon sports complex. Operating since 1966, it welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities and describes itself as Brussels’ only permanent recreational ice rink. Open daily from October through April, it offers public skating with no time limit, including on public holidays, with specific exceptions and booking requirements for groups, schools, and the Christmas period.

Admission is available with or without skate rental, and the rink also offers equipment rental, skate sharpening, lockers, family session cards, annual fan-club passes, and discounted rates for students and visitors with reduced mobility. Visitors can take private skating lessons, while supervised Sunday-morning sessions introduce young children to skating. Friday nights feature disco skating, including monthly 1980s and 1990s themed sessions.

Seasonal programming includes Christmas on Ice, and the venue hosts parties and birthday celebrations. A cafeteria serves drinks and snacks, providing a place to warm up between skating sessions. Its retractable roof also allows skating beneath the open sky
