Skateboard eV

Skateboard e.V. Hamburg is a registered association and one of the organisations representing skateboarding interests in Hamburg. Founded in 2007, it helps people use urban spaces creatively and works as an adviser, networker, and partner in neighbourhood and sports-facility development. Its core activities include developing, planning, organising, and delivering opportunities for participation in skateboarding, supporting social, mental, and physical development among the local skateboarding community.

The association’s projects encourage involvement in public spaces, and its website shares news about initiatives, events, facility openings, video premieres, and courses. It also publishes a Hamburg skate spot guide that the community can help develop. Events include contests, seasonal skate jams, open days, and Girls Skate Hamburg activities. Skateboard e.V. does not currently provide courses directly; instead, it directs visitors to partner providers offering lessons, children’s birthday sessions, holiday programmes, and other formats for different ages and skill levels. Membership gives supporters a way to contribute to the association’s projects and become active in its community.
