Skatfreunden

Skatfreunde Klein Nordende is a welcoming German Skat club that has brought players together since 1995. Based in the Klein Nordende and Elmshorn area, the club combines a love of the traditional card game with an active social community. Beginners, returning players and experienced competitors are all welcome, with enjoyment and good company at the heart of club life.

Members meet every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Clubbi of SV Lieth for a playing session, usually spanning at least seven tables. The club holds internal prize tournaments and an annual club championship, and fields two teams in the Schleswig-Holstein Landesliga for 2026. It also hosts events such as an open prize skat tournament and social gatherings, including a summer celebration, a traditional pea dinner and a Christmas party. Trips and shared activities beyond the card table are part of the club’s community life. Through its regular games, competitions, explanations of Skat and online updates, Skatfreunde Klein Nordende helps preserve the game while inviting new people to join.
