Seifenkistengruppe Stromberg is a community group in Oelde-Stromberg dedicated to making soapbox racing accessible, enjoyable, and welcoming for participants of different ages. Newcomers are invited to attend a training session, learn about the sport, and try racing themselves. The group provides soapbox cars for participants to borrow, and people aged 7 to 70 can take part. Those who prefer a casual introduction can also join public activities and try a run without advance registration.

The group typically holds three to four training sessions each year, as well as its annual Stromberg soapbox race. Its events welcome both competitors and spectators, with opportunities for visitors to experience the course through public rides for a small fee. Racers can also take part in other events across North Rhine-Westphalia and compete for the state championship. Beyond racing, the group invites volunteers to help organize events, support course operations, and assist with activities such as refreshments and family entertainment.
