Skivereniging Brabant Noord-Oost is a sports association serving people in the Den Bosch area who want to improve their fitness, prepare for a winter sports holiday, or stay active during the colder months. Its seasonal SneeuwFit, or ski fitness, programme runs weekly from 1 October to 1 April and focuses on the strength and endurance needed for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. The exercises work all major muscle groups and can help participants prepare for the physical demands of a winter sports week.
Members can choose indoor training in Rosmalen, outdoor training in Vught, or attend both. The outdoor sessions include exercises also found in other forms of fitness training, making them suitable for people who are not planning a ski trip. Adults aged 18 to 80 and of all fitness levels are welcome. Qualified trainers provide guidance, adapt activities to individual abilities and build up the level of sessions over the season; participants can join at any time.
