Ski-Club St Märgen

Ski-Club St. Märgen e.V. is a community sports club based in St. Märgen, in Germany’s Hochschwarzwald region. Founded in 1924, the club celebrated a century of sporting activity in 2024 and continues to bring together local residents and athletes around skiing, biking and outdoor recreation. Its programme serves children, young people and adults, from beginners and recreational participants to competitive mountain bikers.

The club offers seasonal training in Nordic and alpine skiing, ski technique and ski-roller basics, alongside mountain biking sessions focused on riding skills, fitness and endurance. General athletic training develops strength, coordination, mobility and agility. Activities include dedicated groups for young children, age-based youth training, and sessions for teenagers and adults. The club also provides ski courses and supports participation in the Schwarzwälder MTB Cup, including races hosted in St. Märgen and other locations.
