Ski Club Bad Grund

Ski-Club Bad Grund/Harz e.V. is a community sports club founded in 1982 by ski enthusiasts in Bad Grund, Germany. The club combines recreational alpine skiing with competitive racing and welcomes participants of different ages and abilities. Its activities include ski holidays and training camps designed to help skiers develop their technique, as well as alpine race training for children and young people. For more than 30 years, children’s skiing has been an important part of the club’s work.

Since 2008, the club has operated a German Ski Association (DSV) ski school, where lessons and training are delivered by certified alpine skiing coaches. It also hosts regional and national competitions, including North German and Lower Saxony championships and events in the Harzer Zwergencup. The club’s programmes include racing, general skiing activities and, increasingly, opportunities for athletes with disabilities to take part in training and receive support. Through its events, instruction and club community, Ski-Club Bad Grund/Harz promotes skiing for recreation, skill development and sporting achievement.
