Ski Club Monthey

Ski Club Monthey is a community ski club welcoming children aged approximately 6 to 16 who want to enjoy skiing together in a friendly, non-competitive setting. From December to April, members meet on Saturday mornings in Monthey and travel as a group by train to Champéry, then by cable car to the slopes. The outings combine the fun of skiing with a shared journey and time spent together outdoors.

The club’s activities extend beyond its regular ski sessions. It organizes an ice-skating outing at the start of the season, an end-of-season tree-climbing adventure, and an internal competition. Members can also take part in a ski weekend in the Portes du Soleil area in France and a summer family weekend in the mountains. The club runs a stand at the Foire du 31 and is supported by instructors affiliated with Jeunesse & Sport and ESS. With its emphasis on shared experiences and a convivial atmosphere rather than competition, Ski Club Monthey offers families an engaging way to enjoy winter sports and club life.
