About Crowsnest Nordic Ski Club
Crowsnest Nordic Ski Club is a not-for-profit registered charity promoting cross-country skiing and other non-motorized winter recreation in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Its trails are located in the Chinook Provincial Recreation Area and surrounding public lands, on the east side of Tecumseh Mountain near the continental divide. The forested, sheltered, rolling terrain offers opportunities for people of varying skill levels to enjoy the Southern Rockies in winter.
The club supports cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking, and shares information about trail conditions, news, events, and local sponsors. It also offers adult instruction for people looking to learn or improve their skiing, along with youth programs for children aged 3 to 12, including a ski loan day. Volunteer instructors are certified by the Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors.
Visitors can support trail maintenance and grooming equipment by becoming members, donating, or volunteering. The club welcomes both frequent visitors and those coming for a day, and encourages participation in its programs and community activities
