The wood processing sector in the Baltic States holds immense potential for growth, but faces a shortage of qualified workers who possess the necessary skills for industry development, including digital and green skills.

Skilled-Up seeks to address this issue by introducing a work-based learning (WBL) program and quality assurance measures at the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) level 5. By strengthening the cooperation between vocational education and training (VET) institutions and industry representatives, Skilled-Up aims to enhance the competitiveness and quality of VET institutions while fostering economic development and innovation in the wood processing sector.
