Skill Reality

Skill Reality is a company developing hands-free, on-the-job guidance for manufacturing and food and beverage operations. Its platform converts a plant’s existing standard operating procedures into step-by-step instructions displayed on smart glasses, helping workers follow procedures while keeping their hands free. AI drafts each procedure, but a person must approve it before it reaches the factory floor. As workers complete tasks, each step is recorded with a timestamp; steps involving hazards require supervisor approval rather than relying on AI.

The product is designed to turn training into practical workplace skills and provide a record of task completion. Skill Reality says its system runs on Meta Ray-Ban Display, with Android XR tested and RealWear in prototype. The company is focused first on food and beverage plants and is seeking design partners for pilot programs. Founded by Lorne Fade, who has ten years of enterprise XR experience and more than 100 deployments through VR Vision, Skill Reality is raising a $2 million seed round to support its plans.
