About Skills Centrum
Skills Centrum Rwenzori Limited, a non-profit organization founded in 2019, is dedicated to empowering individuals in the Rwenzori region of Uganda. Through vocational training, education, and community support, they tackle issues like child marriage, young motherhood, and poverty. With a focus on practical skills training, they offer courses in weaving, plastic mosaic making, crocheting, and tailoring, providing trainees with the tools to generate sustainable income and break the cycle of poverty.
In just a few years, they have empowered over 1,000 trainees and supported families in need. Noteworthy is their grant funding achievement and community support initiatives, such as food distribution during the pandemic. Skills Centrum Rwenzori's mission is to empower individuals with skills and knowledge that positively impact their lives and communities.
