Ski Areál Sklenařice is a small, family-run ski resort on the edge of Sklenařice, about 2. 5 kilometres north of Vysoké nad Jizerou. Set against views of the Krkonoše Mountains, it offers an approachable place for families, children, adults and seniors to enjoy skiing without the crowds and long waits found at larger resorts.

The resort promotes affordable skiing and operates two lifts: Sklenařičák and Metlák. It also offers children’s snowmobile rides on a designated circuit beside the Metlák lift, an activity available at the resort since the 2021/2022 winter season. The website lists opening hours of 9 a.

m. to 4 p. m., with arrangements possible by phone.

Visitors can find practical information online, including current updates, a price list, refreshments and directions. For the 2025/2026 season, the resort announced an early closure because of unfavourable weather, with both lifts out of operation. The team thanked visitors for their support and looks forward to welcoming them again next season
