Skjaldborn

Skjaldborn is a full-pipeline animation studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark, creating original stories, characters and worlds designed to entertain audiences and build lasting communities. Its work spans original animation and client projects across television, film and advertising. For its own productions, the studio develops, produces and releases original intellectual property, alongside related products and merchandise. Its service offering includes directing, storyboarding, visual effects, animation, compositing and post-production.

Skjaldborn’s projects include HØJ, a television series rooted in dragons, giants and Norse mythology, and animation for Børste: Sange fra Minisjang 2, a collection of ten music videos. The studio’s broader experience includes work on feature films and children’s television, as well as the Tales of Alethrion universe, which has grown through community-backed crowdfunding and expanded into merchandise, a board game and a record label.
